Information You Send
Search Entries
If you type a name, place, or other search term into a search tool, that query may be sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Linn County Inmate Population does not keep a separate internal log of those search terms on its own system.
Messages
If you email us or send a contact message, the message and the contact details you provide may be kept so we can read it, respond, and maintain ordinary business records. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless a legal duty requires it.

External Websites
This site links to sheriff offices, jail pages, Missouri court and corrections portals, federal locators, and third-party search services. Once you click to an outside website, that website's privacy policy and terms control its data practices.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure ads or personalize ads across websites. Those activities are controlled by the ad partner, not by a Linn County office or Missouri public-record custodian.
